    Product Overview:

      The UHCZ-66 flip-plate magnetic float level gauge uses a magnetic float as the sensing element. Through magnetic coupling via magnets, changes in the liquid level are synchronously transmitted to the magnetic flip-plate display panel, providing an intuitive and clear indication of the liquid level position. This level gauge is suitable for measuring the liquid level and interface of various media in pressurized or open containers such as tanks and spherical tanks of all types. The gauge features explosion-proof capabilities and can be used in hazardous environments involving corrosive, toxic, flammable, and explosive substances. To further expand its application scope, it can be equipped with level switches and remote transmission devices according to relevant standards and requirements, enabling the output of multiple electrical signals. Among these, switch signals and 4–20 mA DC current signals for remote transmission are commonly used. The gauge can also support the HART communication protocol or use RS485 bus communication. The switch signal from the level switch can be utilized for alarm or control purposes related to the liquid level. Meanwhile, the remote transmission signal converts changes in the liquid level into a standard 4–20 mA DC current signal, which is then transmitted to the control room, thereby enabling remote monitoring and control of the liquid level.

     

    Working principle:

      The flip-plate magnetic float level gauge is a specialized device developed and designed by ingeniously combining the principles of magnetic coupling, Archimedes' buoyancy law, and the principle of communicating vessels. It is used exclusively for measuring liquid levels and interface positions. The main body of the level gauge is installed on the vessel via upper and lower connecting flanges, forming a communicating vessel system with the container. As a result, the liquid level inside the main body of the level gauge is at the same height as the liquid level within the container, causing the magnetic float inside the main body to rise and fall along with the liquid level in the container. Since we cannot directly observe the liquid level, we have mounted a magnetic flip-plate display panel on the outer wall of the main body of the level gauge. During the manufacture of the magnetic float, we embed a 360° annular permanent magnet at the boundary between the part of the float that sinks into the liquid and the part that floats on the surface. As the liquid level rises or falls, the magnetic field of the float passes through the main body and acts upon the magnetic flip-plate display panel, causing the flip plates to rotate 180°. Since each flip plate consists of two sides—one red (or yellow) and one white—after a 180° rotation, the side facing outward from the panel will change to red (or yellow). The boundary between the two colors on the flip plate precisely indicates the height of the liquid level (or interface).

      Working pressure: ≥42.0 MPa and below (optional)

      Float sensor materials: 316L/304 stainless steel, TA2, TA18, PVC, etc.

      Medium density: The measurable medium density is ≥0.45 g/cm³. The density difference between media is ≥0.2 g/cm³.

      Explosion-proof rating: Flameproof type Ex db IIC T6 Gb, Intrinsically safe type Ex ia IIC T6 Gb

    Main features:

      The product features stable performance, a simple and intuitive design, easy installation, and convenient and quick disassembly, assembly, and maintenance. Its accompanying electrical remote transmission design incorporates an EMC electromagnetic compatibility circuit. The electrostatic discharge immunity meets the Class 3 qualification level specified in GB/T17626.2-2018; surge (impulse) immunity meets the Class 3 qualification level specified in GB/T17626.5-2019; fast transient pulse group immunity meets the Class 3 qualification level specified in GB/T17626.4-2018; and power-frequency magnetic field immunity meets the Class 4 qualification level specified in GB/T17626.8-2006. The product has obtained the SIL2 certification and includes built-in temperature and pressure compensation functions to ensure measurement stability.
